HAMILTON GUN CLUB There was a good attendance at the fortnightly shoot of the Hamilton Gun Club on Saturday afternoon No. 1 shoot (six birds 3 1 entries) resulted in C. Seddon, J. McMiken, A. W. Starkey, J. Parlour and W. O'Kane shooting the possible and dividing. Tiie final heat of the Amundsen Cup (10 birds, 14 entries) was won by H. Earle, W. Moore and C. Seddon (equal) with 9. On the aggregate best two scores in the three heats the following tied: W. Howe, J. McMiken, C. Seddon, W. O'Kane and A. Woolven, with IS. A shoot-off of 10 birds took place when C. Seddon and W. O’Kane tied with 9, ,T. McMiken and A. Woolven shooting 8. Seddon and O'Kane then shot off, first miss out, and Seddon won, O'Kane missing the third bird. The No. 3 shoot (7 birds, 14 entries) was divided by W. O'Kane and E. O'Kane with the possible. The gymcrack shoot (7 birds, 8 entries) was won by V. Jelavich and W. Woolven with G. On Wednesday next a £SO match and a £25 match will be held, and on Thursday the Auckland provincial championship will be shot for. On September 14 the club will shoot a challenge match against the Auckland Gun Club on the latte.r’s ground.
