TUNNEY AND DEMPSEY ACTIVE TRAINING AGAIN By Cable. —Press Association. —Copyright NEW YORK, Thursday. The boxers Dempsey and Tunney today begin active training for their match on September 22. Dempsey is at a camp near the scene of the bout, and Tunney is in a little village near New Y'ork. Tunney intends to take up training quarters near Chicago on September To-day Dempsey boxed with three partners" for one round each, and afterwards did work on the pulleys and had floor exercises. The ex-champion boxed viciously, but he was a wide, open target for straight left-hand jabs, of which his opponents took no advanTunnev boxed six rounds with two partners! and did effective work with his left hand. lie appears to be in perfect condition.—A. and N.Z.
