BAND CONCERT

SUNDAY PROGRAMME The Municipal Band plays at the Zoological Park on Sunday afternoon at 3 o’clock. A tine programme will include selections from “The Yeoman of the Guard” and “The Pirates of Penzance,” Gounod’s overture to “Mirella,” cornet solo “Land of Hope and Glory” by Mr. Fred Bowes; euphonium solo, “Once Again,” by Mr. J. Purchase; together with bright marches, hymn tunes and other tuneful items. In the Town Hall in the evening at 8.30 o’clock the band will give a musical recital, when sevei'al fine band and solo numbers will be presented.

Frank Borzage declares that Janet Gaynor’s dramatic ability will soon place her in the top rank of screen players. Her winsome beauty will be seen in two Fox attractions, “Seventh Heaven,” and “Sunrise.”
