Te Awamutu Club (From Our Oivn Correspondent.) TE AWAMUTU, Thursday. The Te Awamutu Golf Club’s final for the Archeen Cup resulted in H. V. Holmes and D. Williams finishing all square. The match is to be replayed. Consequent on the heavy rain the golf course is closed for a few days, but it is expected the cup final will be played early next week Rotorua Club (From Our Own Correspondent.) ROTORUA, Thursday. The executive of the Rotorua Golf Club has completed arrangements for the forthcoming open tournament. The question of increased machinery for keeping the fairway in order was discussed, and it was decided that larger machinery should be procured. The bogey of No. 4 and 7 holes was reduced from 5 to 4. and slight alterations were made to playing conditions. Bunkering and construction work are being carried out as fast as the weather will allow. The final for the club's championship will be plaved on Saturday between M. D. Carr and Hulton over 36 holes. The match for the junior cup will take place on the same day between L. Shaw and Empen over 36 holes. Both the games should prove very interesting.
