The Australian schoolboys’ Association football team played its first game of the New Zealand tour to-day, when it was beaten by 3 goals to 1 by’ a Wellington schoolboy’s’ team. Mallinson scored all three goals for Wellington, and Follett scored for the visitors. The game was a good exhibition, but many’ chances were lost by both teams.
