MORE RUSSIANS TO GO
HOME OFFICE ACTS OIL COMPANY OFFICIALS By Cable. —Press Association.—Copyright LONDON, Wednesday. The Home Office has ordered two officials of the Russian Oil Products Co.—Martin Zeltin, a director of the company, and Ivan Khoncavsko, an engineer—to leave England. The reason given is that they have not fulfilled the conditions of their admission to the country. It is reported that the Trades Union Congress is organising a protest. This action by the Home Office has attracted attention on account of the campaign against the sale in England of petrol from Russia formerly owned by British shareholders. A Home Office official said the action taken does not represent any attack against the Russian Oil Products Co., directly or indirectly. The Government will not let Russians who are ostensibly in England for trade purposes, engage in antiBritish propaganda and espionage. The directors of the company reply that it is significant the order for expulsion should have been issued at a time when the sales of Russian petrol are increasing. They say their business will not be interrupted. —A. and N.Z.
