THE TRAYMOBILE

! WHEELS FOR THE WASH SAVE THE BACKACHE An open mind ready for any innovation is'an excellent possession. There was once a woman who had such a mind and who found a traymobile helped her in her daily round. Then came a vision of washing-day

without that stooping and carrying heavy loads of damp clothing. It was a wonderful vision, and she at once got to work. The traymobile is rolled into the laundry, a piece of American cloth being put over the woodwork to preserve it. When the clothes are rinsed and blued they are piled on top of the traymobile, the pegs in the lower shelf, and it is wheeled out to the lines. There is no stooping for pegs or lugging a basketful of heavy cjpthes. When the clothes are dry they are run on the traymobile ready for ironThen again on winter days when the thought of cleaning the grate and carrying in the wood and coal strikes a chill, get the traymobile, put on its pinafore, so to speak, of cloth, load it and wheel it into the room. The task is then completed without difficulty. Should qualms arise at using an expensive piece of furniture for such “lowly” doings, keep one for making its appearance laden with sandwiches and cakes and invest in a drudge traymobile.
