COMING OF AGE PARTY

A very enjoyable party was held in the O’Neill Street Hall, Ponsonby, last evening, when about 70 friends assembled at the invitation of Mr. and Mrs. J. Gibson to celebrate the coming of age of their daughter Jean. The hall was charmingly decorated, and Miss Gibson was the recipient of many beautiful and useful presents. The evening was passed merrily with dancing, a feature of the evening being the excellent music rendered by Al. Clarke’s Jazz Band. A dainty" supper was served, during which a number of happy speeches were made on behalf of the guest of honour, who suitably responded.
