AN ORANGE PARADE
BAND CENSURED COUNCIL STANDS FIRM (From Our Own Correspondent.) PUKEKOHE, Tuesday. The action of the Pukekohe Band in playing at an Orangemen’s parade was again before the Borough Council last night when a letter was read from the band asking that the minute in the records objecting to the band’s action be expunged. After considerable discussion the council refused to alter its decision.
