By Cable. — Press Association.—Copyright LONDON, Tuesday. j The death has occurred of the third j Baron Penrhyn, who was for some j time Conservative member of the ! House of Commons for Northamptonshire South. Lord Penrhyn owned the racehorse Topgallant.—A. and N.Z.-Sun. Lord Penrhyn was born in 1864, and educated at Eton. He went to Sandhurst and entered the Life Guards in 1885. From 1595 to 1900 he was in the House of Commons. He was the owner of one of the most beautiful places in Wales and about 50,000 acres of land. He was the eldest of a large family, as his father had 12 daughters and three sons, having been married twice. He married the Hon. Blanche Fitzroy, daughter of Lord Southampton, and has two sons and three daughters.
