Some of the members also contributed vocal items, and the whole party took part in community singing. Folk dances were given by members of the Manurewa Troop. In addition to a large number of mothers and friends of the Guit fs, the following officers of neighbouring troops were present:—Mrs. Hain, district commissioner, cub master and assistant, Otahuhu; captain, lieutenant and leaders, Otahuhu: captain, lieutenant and leaders, Papatoetoe.
