SWANSON WOMEN’S INSTITUTE

A successful social was given by the Swanson Women’s Institute on Wednesday, August 17, in the Swanson Hall. Mrs. Dourman opened the evening with an address on the work of Women’s Institutes. Music was provided by Mr. Lawrie with a clarionette, Mr. Lord with a violin, and Mrs. G. Taylor at the piano. The evening was spent in games, dances and competitions.
