OLD THAMES GIRLS

REUNION PARTY At the very enjoyable reunion afternoon tea party held by the mem of the Old Thames Girls’ Association in John Court's tea-room yesterday, a presentation was made to Mrs. Adams, who was the guest of honour. Mrs. Adams donated a large and beautifully decorated cake to the association's recent jubilee function held in the Town Hall. As a token of appreciation a photograph of Mrs. Adams, in which the cake figured prominently, was yesterday presented to her by the members. A dainty afternoon tea was served, and a very sociable hour spent in exchanging friendly gossip and reminiscences. The ladies present were: Mesdames Oldham, McLachlen. Reid, Woolley, Ambury, Clark, Elvidge, Jeffries, Farquliar, Kicks, Ridson, Brough, Lambourne, King, Addison, Black, Dawson. Priest, Kearney, Culpitt, Stubbing, Xichol, McGregor, Crawford, White, Redfern, McLennan, Thorburn, Hearst, Misses Clarkson and Aitken.
