EREAKAGE ON ENGINE COWCATCHER DROPS (From Our Own Correspondent.) * WHANG ARBI, To-day. As the Northland express was entering the Otonga flag station yesterday the centre pin of the engine bi'idge, that supports its compensating beams, broke, causing the engine bed to drop and the cowcatcher to scrape the permanent way. This occasioned a delay of 12 hours, the engine being exchanged at Whakapara with another travelling on the slow train which follows. ,
