THROWN FROM A HORSE
OTAHUHU MAN INJURED William Brain, a married man aged 52, ot East Tamaki Road. Otahuhu, suffered a fractured leg when he was thrown from a horse yesterday. Mr. Brain was riding the horse, which was attached to a sledge, when the animal bolted and he was thrown off. liis left leg was caught in the sledge. The condition of the injured man is reported as fair. His leg will be X-rayed this afternoon.
