On Tuesday a typewriter, valued at 4- 1 8, was missed, while a registered letter was opened at £5 extracted postal notes being left untouched. The thefts were evidently very coolly carried out, as it would have been necessary for the intruder to go behind the counter in the front of the premisses and carry the typew-riter boldly out. Nothing else was taken.
