anniversary night Loyal Dargaville Lodge. M.U.1.0.0.F., . as ‘ e n fete on Monday night, the occasion being the first anniversary of its establishment. Bros. F. C. Perry, dGM- and J°hn McLeod, D.S., paid an official visit, and delivered very interesting and instructive addresses. At the conclusion of the lodge meeting the members adjourned for harmony and were joined by representatives of all the other friendly societies. An enjoyable evening was spent under the chairmanship of Bro. D. Geaney, N.G., A nd the visitors, including a contingent from the Maungatapere Lodge, were -iven a right royal reception. A number of representatives from the ladies’ lodges were present, and the proceedings terminated with a pleasant dance. The visiting officials left Dar"aville for Maungatapere this mornfng, in continuation of their official tour.
