Mr. Andrew Menzies, id the committee had considered a for lighting Blandford Park olid playing night matches next year. rhv idea had proved successful in Australia and the committee was in touch StU representatives there. Providing the outlay was not too expensive, it waa probable night matches will be nlaved in Auckland next season. P Mr Drew also suggested that the Auckland Association should play a fecial match, the proceeds to be devoted to the expenses of the Auckland travelling team. The chairman sala the suggestion would be considered, but he did not think it possible to devote a date for the match, as the season’s programme could not be completed now. SUSPENDED The cases of Humphries, Y.M.C.A., and Cotton, Onehunga, who were ordered off the field in a senior match last Saturday week, were dealt with. After hearing evidence, it was decided to suspend Humphries until Yugust 29, and Cotton for one playing Saturday. No action was taken in regard to a linesman who was also reported by the referee. An application from the Kiwi Club to transfer S. Rowatt and W. Rodwell from second grade to third grade was granted, providing these players played only in club competitions and not in knock-out contests. The North Shore Club was granted permission to transfer H. Smith and B. Moore from senior to second grade. G. Malcolm, Y.M.C.A., was transferred from third open to third intermediate grade for club games only.
