Joe Wright, a finalist in the diamond sculls and jCanadian amateur champion, may accept an invitation, received on Tuesday, to participate in the Australian Henley at Melbourne on October 22.—A. and N.Z. Wright lost the Diamonds through a singular misfortune. His scull jammed when he was leading by four lengths. Jf he goes to Melbourne he will meet W. A. Stevenson, the Waitemata sculler, who has accepted an invitation to compete.
