“ANKLES PREFERRED”
MAJESTIC ON FRIDAY Lawrence Gray, who is cast as Barney in “Ankles Preferred,” a J. G Blystone production for Fox Films in which Madge Bellamy is featured, says the most thrilling moments of his screen career were spent with Bebe Daniels off the coast of Florida. He was making motor-boat scenes with her when a sudden typhoon upset
the craft. They were rescued by the camera launch. but both received severe shock and numerous minor injuries. According to Miss Bellamy, of “Ankles Preferred,” Gray is one of the most sincere “lovers” she has ever met in film circles. Miss Bellamy describes him as “wholesome.” Cast with Gray and Miss Bel!am\ are Lillian Elliott, J. Farrell MacDonald, Barry, Norton, Allan Forrest, Joyce Compton, Marjorie Beebe, Mary Foy, Arthur Housman, William Strauss and others.
