EVERYBODY’S

“KNOCK-OUT REILLY” Ice skating, ski-ing, and a boxer’s training camp scenes for Richard Dix’s newest Paramount starring vehicle, ‘‘Knockout Reilly,” which is being shown at Everybody’s Theatre, were photographed at Lake Placid, New York’s world-famous winter sports resort in the Adirondacks. In addition to the star, his leading woman, Mary Brian, and Harry Gribbon, who has an important role in the picture, others participating in the healthy outdoor life were Larry McGrath, Billy Viderbeck, and four lesser pugilists. An important member of the troupe was Lassie, a ten-year-old-dog, who acted as Dix’s friend and companion during the strenuous training scenes. “Knockout Reilly” was adapted to the screen by Pierre Codings and Kenneth Raisbeck, from the story, “The Hunch,” by Albert Jayson Terhune.
