PREPARATION FOR SHOW The financial report submitted u the annual meeting of the North Kl para Agricultural Society, held oi Saturday at Paparoa, showed cron: to the extent of approximately £j of which £35 was in the bank. Prior to the last show a campaign for fundi had been carried out and had realise; £llO. The following officers were elected Patron, Rt. Hon. J. G. Coates; pres;, dent, Mr. J. F. Mills; vice-president* Messrs. E. Evans, G. Smith, E. R. Jerkins and R. Coates, and Mesdames R. Cliffe and C. H. Jenkins; auditor Mr. E. G. Aickin; committee, Messs T. Wilson, J. Cliff, G. Dodds, H. Cli!. P. Briscoe, O. C. Hames. R. Spick. J Sutherland, E. Hames, E. T. Birtfc D. Withers, H. Tibbets, V. Cliff, Mar? don, G. Petley and Mrs. Petley, wit power to add. Mr. O. C. Hames, Mr. C. H. Jenktm and Mrs. F. B. Blackwell were elected life members. The committee was recommended te proceed with preparations for the ner. show and also to make an effort beforehand to augment the funds. The positions of secretary and tro? surer are to be combined and tender called for the position, subject to i fidelity bond.
