PAPATOETOE TOWN BAND
The Papatoetoe Town Band, under the baton of Bandmaster C. Shore, rendered a very enjoyable recital last Friday night, on the Shirley Road Reserve, opposite tht' Post Office. In spite of the unfavourable weather conditions prevailing a large number of the residents turned out, and showed their appreciation of the bandsmen’s efforts in no uncertain manner. A collection was taken up, which will assist to swell the funds <>i the b ind.
