ASSEMBLY HALL FOR TECHNICAL COLLEGE
Tenders have been called for the erection of a fine assembly hall for the Seddon Memorial Technical College. The proposal has been discussed by the board for some time. It will cost £12,000, toward which the board has cash and assets worth £ 8,000. Built in concrete, the structure will cover an area 60ft. by 60ft. behind the main building. It will be equipped with a stage and a gallery, and will also contain ante-rooms and a board room.
