GOODSELL AT PRACTICE By Cable. —Press Association. —Copyright VANCOUVER, Saturday. Major Goodsell, who is training for his match with Bert Barry for the world’s championship next month, sculled against a racing shell rowed by Frank Adams, the Pacific Coast champion, and Herb Fullerton, a local star, and defeated them over three miles. The race was witnessed by 40 prominent citizens and sportsmen on a steamer belonging to the Harbour Commissioners. —A. and N.Z.
