DEVONPORT PRESBYTERIANS

ANNUAL MEETING OF ST. PAUL’S Satisfaction with the increased attendances at the Sunday services was expressed in the report of the session at the annual meeting of the iSt. Paul’s Presbyterian Church, Devonport. A falling-off in revenue in the general account, mainly caused by the eight months' vacancy in the pastorate, was reported by the managers. There was no decrease in the contributions to mission and other church schemes which totalled £3lB. The old manse had been soid, a new one in Lake Roaa purchased, and alterations costing about £650 were being made. A vote of sympathy with the widow and family of the late Mr. John Henderson was passed, and a minute expressing appreciation of his services as a member of the board of managers was recorded. Messrs. W. D. Blair, J. F. C. Buchanan, G. Falla, T. S. Goudie and J. R. Kilgour were re-elected to the board of managers, and Messrs. A. Cowie and A. Watson were elected to fill the vacancies.
