KENT LEAVES LIVERPOOL. A cable message to the Federal Company reports that the Kent left Liverpool on Sunday with general cargo to discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and New Plymouth. She is due at Auckland on September 16. CANADIAN PIONEER AT NEW YORK. —Cabled news has been received by the Canadian Government Agency that the Canadian Pioneer arrived at New York on August G from Auckland. and sailed again on August 9 for Boston and Montreal. The vessel sailed from Auckland on June 30.
COASTAL MOVEMENTS— The Gunbar came off the slip this morning and commenced loading: for Gisborne. Xapier and bays. She sails from Auckland at noon on Monday. The Waipiata, from Dunedin via ports, leaves Wellington this afternoon for Auckland, where she is due on Monday. After discharge here the vessel pays off and undergoes overhaul and survey at this The Kawatiri leaves Westport at 10 p.m. to-dav for Xew Plymouth and Auckland, and should arrive here next Thursday. The Waimea has been delayed at Xapier by rain, and now leaves to-day at 1 p.m. for Auckland, Slie is due here on Monday morning and sails again on her return trip to Gisborne and Xapier on Tuesday. The Kamona sailed from Portland at 4.30 p.m. yesterday for New Plymouth and Greymouth. She is to load at Greymouth next’ Wednesday for Tauranga and Auckland. The Waipori left Greymouth at 10 p.m. yesterday, and leaves Wesport to-night for Auckland, where she is clue next Tuesday. MARAMA LEAVES SYDNEY The Union Company have been advised that’ the passenger steamer Marama sailed from Sydney at 3 p.m. yesterday for Auckland where she is due next Tuesday morning. The Katoa loads at Dunedin next Wednesday, thence Timaru and Lyttelton, for Auckland. She will omit Wellington on her way Xorth. _ The Kurow is to load at Port Craig on Monday, thence Bluff and Wellington, for Auckland, and should arrive here about August 23. . . . , The Kaimanawa sails from Auckland this afternoon for Wellington and Westport, and loads at the latter port next Wednesday for Auckland. The Kaitangata is to leave here on Monday for Onerahi to load timber for Sydney and Newcastle. The Kaiwarra is to sail from Auckland next Tuesday for Xewcastle, where she loads for Lyttelton. The Wingatui leaves Lyttelton this afternoon for Wellington, Picton and Auckland, and is due here nexc ThursOmana, sailing at 9.45 a.m. tomorrow for Surfdale, Ostend and Omiha, returns again at 7 p.m. the same day. The Matangi, arriving from Tauranga at 7 a.m. to-morrow, is scheduled to leave on the return trip at 7 p.m. on Monday. , The I-lauturu sails at 4 p.m. on Monday for Kutarere and Opotiki. The Otimai sails at 4 p.m. on Monday for Whakatane. The Richardson steamer Awahou is due from the East Coast, via Portland, on Monday evening next. She is to be dispatched at 5 p.m. the next day for Tokomaru Bay, Tolago Bay and Gisborne. . , , The Mako is expected to arrive back from the cost on Tuesday next, and is scheduled to sail again the next day for Cape Runaway, ITick’s Bay, Te Araroa, Port Awanui, Napier and wairoa.
