FANCY DRESS BALL AT MERCER
A successful children’s fancy dress ball was held At Mercer last evening, the hall being well filled, and dancing among till* older people being carried on until the early hours. The prizelist ia as follows: Fancy dress, girls under five years, Daisy Martin; boys under five years, Monty Morey. Girls, five to seven years, Betty Dean 1, Zeta Gordon 2. Boys, five to seven years, Ernie Glass 1, P. Lowther 2. Girls, seven to 10 years, Lucy Mcßobie 1, Eileen Mullard 2. Girls’ comic, Dorothy Cow 1, Thelma Dick 2. Boys’ fancy dress, seven to 10 years, W. Dicks 1, F. Gordon 2. Boys’ comic, seven to 10 years, F. Cory. Girl’s fancy, 10 years and over, Joyce Morey 1, Dulcie Morey 2, Mary Waite 3. Girls’ comic, 10 years and over, Dorey Dicks 1, Rhoda Alyard 2. Girls’ most original, Noeline Gow 1. Boys’ fancy, 10 years and over, A. Wisnisky 1, A. Dicks 2, S. West 3. Docherty and Allen. The supper arrangements were carried out by the ladies’ Committee.
