MUNICIPAL BAND
SUNDAY CONCERTS The Municipal Band plays in the Zoological Park to-morrow (Sunday) afternoon, at three o’clock, and in the evening in the Town Hall at 8.30. A sparkling programme in the afternoon will include the overture “Italiana in Algieri,” two fine selections based on Schubert melodies, from the popular “Lilac Time,” and many other tuneful and melodious numbers. The evening programme in the Town Hall will include the overture "Sicilian Vespers,” a grand selection from 1 Verdi’s opera, “Attila,” containing some of the finest music he wrote. The popular composer, Ketelbey, will .be .represented by his latest and most tuneful suite, “In a Lover’s Garden.” Handel’s celebrated largo is also to be given by special request. Other fine items are tone poem, “In the Cloisters”; valse de concert, “Silver Birds,” with Mr. McLennan in the obligato part; and a xylophone solo by Mr. Rowland. Jackson.
Marion Davies is to be starred next in “The Fair Co-ed,” by Metro-Gold-wyn-Mayer. She has just finished “Quality Street.”
