ST. DAVID’S BOY SCOUTS
ROBINSON CUP PRESENTED At the annual meeting of St. David’s Troop of Boy Scouts, Mr. E. C. Cutten, S.M., who presided, spoke of the necessity of training boys and girls to become good citizens, and emphasised the work of the Boy Scouts and Girl Guides in this direction. Mr. A. Tribble, the scoutmaster, reported that both in efficiency and numbers the troop was in a most satisfactory position. The membership was 34, and the Wolf Cubs under Miss Atkins numbered 26. During the year a rover patrol had been established, and was doing good work. Mrs. E. M. Childs was accorded a vote of thanks for her services. The Robinson Cup, for the patrol with the greatest all-round efficiency, was won by the Tigers, and was presented to the patrol leader by Mr. A. W Daniels. The Young Citizens’ League, Girl Guides, and the Kitchener Troop of Boy Scouts were represented at the meeting. The retiring committee was reelected, with Messrs. G. S. Baker and Gooch as additional members.
