WEST END BEATEN DOMINION ROAD WINS The West End team—Cox, Hardley, Garry, I. Clarke —ended its triumphant career in the Denison Pins competition by meeting with a defeat from a Dominion Road Club team, comprising floppy, Ashby, Brown, Spiers. The feature of the game was the splendid leading by Spiers and the fine work of Hoppy as skip. Clarke and Garry were kept at defensive driving right through the game, which ended: Dominion Road 25, West End 17. INTER-CLUB MATCH An inter-club match between rinks from Dominion Road and Epsom will be played to-morrow at both greens. Following are the teams: Dominion Road. —At Epsom: Sharkey, Carstens, Goodall, Benson, A. Chappell, Winks, Clews, Denison. At Dominion Road: S. E. Chappell, Virtue, Hollows, Layland, F. C. Taylor, Robertson, Brown, Cartwright. Epsom. —At Dominion Road: Lawrence, Duke, J. Wallace, Nash; French. Paget, G. O. Blakey, T. George.
