REPORT OF INSTITUTE A successful year, financially and from the point of view of Increased membership, is recorded in the report of the Real Estate Institute of Auckland, to be presented at the annual meeting of members next Friday. An increase of 14 members during the year brings the total to 165. Of these 141 are in business in the city and 24 in country districts. The financial position has improved steadily, the accumulated fund now standing at £2,541. It is proposed to capitalise the income account and transfer £7l from the general fund, bringing the benevolence fund capitai account to £ 500. The first examination held by the institute attracted 95 candidates, of whom 13 sat in Auckland and all were successful. In recognition of his services, Mr G B. Osmond was appointed a life member of the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand.
