DEVONPORT GUIDES

MASKED BALL Despite the continual rain last evening the Parish Hall, Devonport, was a scene of thronged gaiety when the Devonport First Company Girl Guides presented its annual fancy masked ball. The hall was decorated with coloured streamers and the Navy League orchestra supplied lilting music. The annual function serves to raise funds for the camp held every year and other purposes of the company. A capable committee had all arrangements well in hand and supper was expeditiously handled.
