A STAFF DANCE
FARMERS’ TRADING COMPANY The staff of the Farmers’ Trading Company held its usual monthly dance in the Orange Hall, Newton Road, last evening. About 70 couples, comprising members of the staff and their friends were present. Birtley’s Orchestra supplied a good programme of dance music. In all probability the dance committee will arrange a ball to be held in the Scots Hall at a later date, possibly in October. Among those present were: Miss Nolan, pale lavender and shell pink georgette. Miss L. Smith, amethyst georgette and deeper amethyst sequins and gold. Miss Wood, hydrangea, blue and applique trimming. Nliss Barker, white georgette and silver. Miss Pile, blue taffeta and silver lace. Miss Bailey, peach taffeta and gold sequins. Miss Donaldson, blue crepe de chine and silver. Nliss Joy, cyclamen georgette and silver lace. Miss Powell, reseda' green and iridescent sequins. Miss Gow, shell pink crepe de chine and lace. Miss Stonex, cyclamen taffeta. Nliss Palmer, cherry velvet and silver Nliss Massey, royal blue and silver. Miss Rugg, delphinium blue and silver. Miss C. Berry, black velvet and georgette. Nliss Ilewson, flame crepe de chine. Miss Atherton, almond green crepe de chine. Nliss E.' Berry, rainbow taffeta. Miss Dunsford, green georgette and silver. Miss Oliver, almond green taffeta. Miss Paltridge, pink georgette and coffee lace. Nliss Gordon, blue figured crepe de ' chine and silver. Miss Anderson, pink shot taffeta. Miss Mill, shell pink georgette and lace. Nliss Iventon, blue shot taffeta. Nliss A. Smith; black crepe de chine and lavender shawl. Miss Gravdon, flame taffeta. Miss D. Hatcher, powder blue satin. Miss A. Hatcher, ivory satin and silver Miss Syme, cyclamen taffeta. Miss MacDonald, green velvet and golf Nliss R. Smith, wine velvet. Miss Flyger, gold and rose tissue. Miss Heerdegan. amarinth crepe de .silva trimmed with silver. Miss Clements, royal blue and silver beads. Nliss Young, salmon pink crepe de chine and silver lace. Nliss Biscoe, cyclamen crepe de chine ,and , sequins. Miss Thorpe, green lace over silver tissue.
