PLANE CRASHES
ROOKE’S FLIGHT ENDED AIRMAN IN HOSPITAL By Cable. —Press Association.—Copyright DELHI, Tuesday. The solo flight which Dennis Rooke attempted from England to Australia has ended in a crash. He was attempting a take-off at Aurangabad in continuation of his journey on August 4 when he crashed on a palm tree. His machine was wrecked and Rooke was seriously injured, being taken to hospital. Later advices are that he is recovering.—A. and N.Z.
