SPIRITS BY PRESCRIPTION SOLICITOR’S SUGGESTION Press Association. STRATFORD, "Wednesday. Mr. Cecil Wright, a prominent cnliritor, addressed a meeting last evening on “The Middle Way.” He suggested that spirits should be withdrawn from hotels, and be only vended by chemists on a doctor’s prescription. He argued that this would meet the nrobibition view by reducing drunkenness, and suit the trade party by reducing opposition to hotels. Mr. Wright is moving to form organisadons to be known as the “Free and Sober League” to get this issue placed on the ballot paper.
