Vagrant Gaoled.—Alexander Me Callum, aged 63, charged at the Police Court to-day with being idle and disorderly, was sentenced to three months' imprisonment. Mail Service Contracts. —The Post and Telegraph Department in this issue invites tenders for the North Island inland mail service contracts for a period of three years from January 1, 1928.
