CYCLIST KILLED
FATALITY NEAR MASTERTON Press Association. MASTERTON, Monday. A fatality occurred on the main Masterton-Carterton Road, a mile and a-half south of Masterton, at 7 o’clock this evening, when Mr. George Judd, aged 63, a farmer, who was cycling from his farm to Masterton, was struck from behind by a motor-car driven by Mr. Charles Stevens, a baker, of Carterton, who also was proceeding to Masterton. Heavy rain was falling at the time. The cyclist was thrown on to his head and died immediately.
