BRIGHTER AUCKLAND

During the week ended August 1, the service gangs of the Auckland Electric-Power Board connected 106 overhead services, anc erected seven poles and 8,500 yards of cable. Nine additional street lamps were put into service, four at One Tree Hill, one at Mount Roskill, Onehunga and the city, and two at Papatoetoe.
