POLICE TRANSFERS
OFFICERS HONOURED Popular police officers, who have been transferred from Auckland, were honoured by their comrades at the Central Police Station last night. Sergeant G. Lambert, who has been transferred to Newton, was presented with a tobacco pouch and a case of pipes, and a bronze vase for Mrs Lambert. Constable E. L. Walton, who has been court orderly for two years, and is now transferred to Onehunga, was presented with an eight-day clock. Both officers have been stationed in Auckland for many years.
