DUNEDIN MOTOR FRAUD TRIAL
CAMPBELL MOTORS, LTD., AUCKLAND, HAVE NO CONNECTION WITH DUNEDIN FIRM The directors of Campbell Motors, Ltd., Rugby car distributors, of Anzac Avenue, Auckland, have asked THE SUN to make it quite clear that they have no connection whatever with the Campbells who have been mentioned in telegraphed reports from Dunedin in connection with charges of intent to defraud concerning several motor sales. As a matter of fact nobody of the name of Campbell is actually connected with the Auckland firm, nor has there been anyone of that name connected with this firm since its inception. Unfortunately the wording of the Dunedin reports may have conveyed the impression to some people that the Dunedin company was the same, or in some way connected with the Auckland firm of Campbell Motors, Ltd., but THE SUN wishes to correct any such impression. The three Campbells and other people in Dunedin trade under the name of the New Zealand Motoring and Engineering Company, and this is in no way connected with the company which trades in Auckland and Wellington under the name of Campbell Motors, Ltd..
