“SHOOTING PLUGS!”
COLLEEN KNOWS HOW If Colleen Moore should lose her job in the movies—which is not likely—it should be easy
enough to find another. In order to get by as a switchboard girl in “Orchids and Ermine,” Miss Moore spent two weeks learning to“shoot plugs.” All for screen purposes she has learned to swim, ride, shoot, to wrap bundles,
model in a modiste’s shop, wait on table, and type.
