HIGH SPIRITS DAMPENED
GAOL FOR CAPERER Charles McGeahan, aged 56, had his 112th conviction recorded in the Police Court to-day. McGeahan pleaded guilty to a charge of being disorderly while drunk. The constable who arrested him said h© was capering and shouting in the street, and refused to desist. Senior-Sergeant Edwards said that McGeahan had 111 previous convictions. Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., sent him to gaol for 14 days.
