MILD EPIDEMIC OF MEASLES

VIRULENT FORM APPEARS Press Association. WELLINGTON, To-day. Measles has been an epidemic in a mild form throughout the Wellington provincial district and generally throughout most parts of the Dominion for the past two months. It is not a notifiable disease, but the above information is gleaned from medicos who report that, in general, the cases are mild. Last week, however, in a girls’ boarding school in the Wellington district, the disease showed a more virulent form. Full precautions have been taken and the school closed.
