TURNING-ON CEREMONY POLITICIANS AT BLENHEIM Press Association. BLENHEIM, To-day. The Minister of Public Works, the Hon. K. S. Williams, and fifteen members of Parliament, arrived at Picton this morning by the Tutanekai and proceeded to Blenheim, where they were officially welcomed. Afterwards they inspected the depot where the concrete poles are manufacured. This afternoon they will proceed to the head works of the hydro-electric power scheme, and in the evening, after a formal dinner, they will participate in the turning-on of the current, returning to Wellington about midnight.
