Mrs. Sandford has been heard locally before, having been broadcast from 2FC and 3LO. The Christchurch station 3YA will be broadcasting a description of races today, and every day next week except Monday. The transmissions, which are to begin at 11 a.m. on each occasion, will be rebroadcast on Tuesday and Thursday by 2YA. No new information on the state of affairs in Samoa was heard from 2YA during the address on Imperial matters last night. The lecturer stated the case for the Government in a much clearer way than that for the other side, although he was, no doubt, doing his best to give an impartial and comprehensive account of the matter. The Dunedin station, 4YA, which is usually silent on Saturday, will broadcast a description of the Otago-South-land Rugby'match this afternoon.
