English Rugby Gates. The two Rugby Internationals played at Twickenham, England, last season brought in a profit of nearly £19,000. The accumulated surplus stands at £103,829. It is estimated that the extensions at Twickenham —the enlargement of the south terrace to accommodate another 5,000 people standing and the transition of the east stand into a double-decker to make room for another 5,000 spectators—will cost £37,000. This work will be completed early in October.
