THEFT AT NEWTON
PREMISES BROKEN INTO ONLY MONEY TAKEN Some time during "Wednesday night the premises of Mr. R. T. Woods, clothing manufacturer, of Mackelvie Street, Newton, were broken into and £ls stolen. The affair is rather mysterious, as the thieves do not seem to have had much trouble in getting into the building. The money was in a cash box in the upstairs office and was broken open. The cash box was not in the safe. Nothing else was taken from the premises, although there was a large quantity of clothing about.
