Lido Manetti,' who plays the part of Henri, the “friend in need” of Adolphe Menjou in Paramount’s “Evening Clothes,” was born in Italy, and was a favourite leading man in pictures abroad before he became associated with Paramount in 1926. He was educated for the engineering profession, in Rome, but turned to the stage after he finished school, and from there went into pictures.
