HOMLYMOUN TRAULDY Recti. 1.29 p.m. BIUSBANL, To-day. Mr, and Mra,. J. Crisp were found shot dead in a bedroom of a city hotel. Crisp went to Sydney a fortnight ago to marry a Sydney girl. The couple returned and took a room at the hotel. The woman was apparcntly shot while asleep. Crisp afterwards committed suicide. Financial worries arc believed to be the cause of the tragedy.VARSITY ENTRANCE BOARD WELLINGTON, To-day. The election of three members of the University Entrance Board by members of the Academic Board resulted in the return of Professors A. W. Seagar (Auckland), G. E. Thompson (Dunedin), and A. Wall (Christchurch). SYDNEY TRAGEDY CHRISTCHURCH, To-day. The girl’s name is Sarah Mayne, not Wayne. The first intimation of the tragedy was received by the Christchurch police a week ago. An aunt who lives in Christchurch and the police were given to understand that JYIr. Donnelly cabled to the relatives for money and they forwarded him a considerable sum at the end of last month.
